Highest Voltage VLF Hipot for Long Cable Runs
VLF-50CMF is HVI’s highest power VLF unit. It is rated for 5 µF at 0.1 Hz and can increase output to 50 µF at 0.01 Hz. This instrument can test up to 50 miles of 15 kV or 25 kV cable, ideal for long cable runs including long feeders, wind farm applications, submarine cables, etc. It includes cable reels with 100’ of high voltage and ground cable.
